Elisha F. Chapman Dies at Age 83
Elisha Fay Chapman, 83, died in his home, 1200 South Columbia Street
at 6:30 a. m. Friday after having been in failing health two years.
He was born in Lowell and moved to Frankfort from that community in
1918. He was married twice, first to Pearl McNay, who died in 1913.
His second marriage was to Christina Scott in 1916. He was a member
of the East Side Christian Church.
Survivors besides his widow are two sons, Vernard, of Chicago, and
Fay, of Dubuque, Ia, two daughters, Mrs. Vera Ahlgrim, Los Angeles,
and Mrs. Irene Davis, Mulberry; a sister, Mrs. Millie Hayden, Lowell,
and a brother, Frank, of Milwaukee.
Mr. Chapman was a retired dairyman.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Goodwin Funeral Home Sunday
at 1:30 p. m. with Rev. John K. Jones officiating. Internment at
Bunnell cemetery.
