Little hope was extended for his recovery. Mr. Moore had been failing for several months. At his request, he was taken home several weeks ago. All of his relatives were at his bedside. He had the most loving care.

Goerge Moore was a quiet, unassuming young man, devoted to his home and his work. He belonged to no fraternal or club organizations, his interest being centered in outdoor life. He loved baseball, fishing and hunting. For a period of 10 or 12 years he pitched and played third base for the Fort Scott ball team. He was a good loser as well as a good winner.

A host of friends over town will be grieved to hear of his demise.
