Jennifer went home to be with her Lord Jesus in heaven after she died at the scene of an accident that was blamed on a suspected drunk driver who led police in a high speed chase in Sherman Oaks in her former home state of California on the evening of May 21, 1984. As the suspected drunk driver led police in a high speed chase in Sherman Oaks, he collided with the 1974 Chevy Vega that Jennifer was driving at the intersection of Sepulveda and Saticoy. Jennifer died at the scene of the accident along with the suspected drunk driver. At the time when she died and went to heaven following the accident, Jennifer was in her senior year at Van Nuys High School and was getting ready for her senior prom.
