Mother of County Atty Dies in Hospital Here

MARIAN A. WARREN

Mrs. Marian A. Warren, 77, mother of County attorney Charles M. Warren, died at 4 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks.

Mrs. Warren, daughter of Gillies Moore, was born in Bourbon Co., near Devon, Nov. 8, 1890.

Mrs. Warren was a lifelong resident of Fort Scott and attended the local schools. She married Harry Warren Sept. 14, 1913 in Fort Scott. Mr. Warren died in 1942.

Mrs. Warren is survived by one son, Charles M. Warren, Lake Fort Scott; three daughters. Mrs. Bob (Helen) Childs, Mrs. John (Margaret) Classen, both of Hoisington, and Mrs. Alfred (Marian Elizabeth) Brown, Dexter. One sister Mrs. Bert (Mildred) Sonneman, Fort Scott, survives. There are eight grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Mrs. Warren was an active member of the Methodist Church working in the circle groups, was past president of Federated Clubs. Eastern Star OES American Legion Auxiliary, and DAR.

She was a member of the Monday Study Club.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Konantz.

Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery under the direction of Konantz.

MRS. HARRY WARREN

The Konantz Chapel was filled to capacity yesterday for the funeral services at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Harry Warren. Rev. Richard Johnson of the Methodist Church officiated.

David Freeman, vocalist, was accompanied by Mrs. M.H. Bartelsmeyer at the organ.

Pallbearers were Gerald Smith, Frank Dotts, Gary Schugart, Marc Rucker, Charles Elliott, Frank Keller and Herby Marlott.

Represented at the services were Courthouse employees, county officials and members of the OES Study Club, White Shrine, Federation of Women's Clubs, Monday Study Club, Methodist Church organizations and the Police Department.

Interment was in Centerville Cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives and friends attending funeral services for Mrs. Harry Warren were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Childs and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Classen and family, Hoisington; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brown, Dexter, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Keller, Tulsa; Kirby Mallott, Peabody, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elliott, Macon, Mo.; Mrs. Dudley Stegge, Joplin; and Mrs. A.B. Dwing, Mrs. Ralph Tate, Mr. and Mrs. Marc Rucker and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schugart, Lawrence.
