Iretta Pearl Brumbaugh, 76, Topeka, died Sunday, November 23, 1997, at home.
She was born January 17, 1921, in Emporia, the daughter of Ira Robert and Sarah Etta Bailey Green. She was graduated from Emporia High School and lived in Emporia until 1961. She lived in Topeka before she moved to Grantville in 1966. She returned to Topeka in 1992.
She was a member of Countryside Christian Church where she was active in the 55-Plug group. She was a member of the Good Sams Camping Club and Capital Sams of Topeka, Jefferson County Extension Unit, Grantville Quilting Club and Dorcas Ladies Club in Grantville.
She was married to Vernon F. Brumbaugh February 16, 1942, in Emporia. He died March 5, 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Vern Edward Brumbaugh, Topeka, Darold Everett Brumbaugh, Lewisville, Texas and Douglas Wayne Brumbaugh, Grantville; a brother, Harold Green, Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia.

Iretta Pearl Brumbaugh, 76, Topeka, died Sunday, November 23, 1997, at home.
