Benjamin Franklin Bowman, farmer residing near Fallentimber, died on July 6, 1928 at home of complications. His wife, who was Mary Elizabeth McCartney, died two months ago. Surviving children: Mary and Laura of Johnstown, Rhoda of Philadelphia; Clayton Bowman, and Mrs. James Holmes of Pittsburgh; James of Altoona; Charles at home. Six sisters: Mrs. Lemuel Troxell, Mrs. Carrie Foster, Mrs. Laura Tudor, Mrs. Catherine Miller, Mrs. Rebecca Copelin, Mrs. Ella McCully; 2 grandchildren. Services will be at the Mountaindale Baptist Church, with interment nearby.
