Cynthia Helen Farris, 42, Niagara, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Cynthia was born on April 16, 1966, in Hawaii, daughter of Gary and Patricia Carr. She grew up in Waverly, Ohio and attended school there. Following high school, Cynthia served in the U.S. Army and after being discharged from the service, she remained active serving with the U.S. Army Reserve. She married Teddy Farris in Colorado. Cynthia went on to attend college in Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree. Cynthia, along with her husband Teddy, moved to Niagara in 1996. She was employed by the Iron Mountain Veterans Hospital as a Laboratory Technician.

She enjoyed many hobbies including, reading, traveling, softball and golf, but most importantly, she loved her family and every moment she spent with them. She was smart and funny, kind and giving, beautiful and caring. Her smile would brighten a room. No matter where you would turn she would be right there with a shoulder to lean on. She touched the lives of many people in very special ways and will be loved and remembered always.

She is survived by her husband of twenty years, Teddy Lenard Farris; one son, Teddy Ryan Farris, one daughter, Brittany Christine Farris, both of Niagara; her parents, Gary Carr and Patricia Carr, Waverly; one brother, Gary Carr; two sisters, Sarah Carr (Moore), Jamie (James) Forbes, both of Waverly; two nephews, Dustin and Connor Carr; one niece, Jillian Forbes, all of Ohio; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Information
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2008, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich., and also Friday, July 18, 2008, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Botkin Funeral Home, Waverly. Military services will be accorded at graveside. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
