Robert Charles Houghton, 69, died Wednesday Dec 31, 1997, at the Bannock Regional
Medical Center in Pocatello.
Funeral services were held Monday Jan 6, 1998, at the Freedom LDS Chapel. A
military burial followed at the Freedom Cemetery.
He was born May 30, 1928 in Logan UT to Algernon Fletcher and Mary Josephine Houghton.
He was very active in the community as well as in the church throughout his life.
He was a man of service.
He is survived by his wife Frances; his sister Dorothy Ford; nine children; 27
grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece.
