Services for Mrs. Laura F. Mitchell, 89 of Stonewall, LA will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. McKee Williams and Rev. Chuck Alford. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Mitchell died on July 19, 2005 in Shreveport. She was a longtime resident of this area. She was a member of 1st Southern Methodist Church of Stonewall, LA and the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband Homer Mitchell.
Survivors include her cousins Bob Theis and wife Evelyn and Dorothy Cook all of Shreveport and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bob Russell, Billy Morgan, Sammy Thomas, Mark Thomas, David McCary and Rob Feron.
The family suggest memorial be made to 1st Southern Methodist Church of Stonewall, LA.
