Ludlow---Russell L. Stocker. Sr., 61 died in the Springfield Hospital Sunday after a short illness. Mr. Stocker was born on June 26, 1901, a son of Frederick and Emma (White) Stocker. He was a lumberman, and lived here for the past ten years. He was a member of Ludlow Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Irene Dubeau of Woodstock, Mrs. Evelyn Rogers of Rutland, Mrs. Donald Patt of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. James Walker of South Londonderry, and Mrs. Thomas Martin of Ascutney; five sons, Russell Stocker, Jr. and Francis Stocker of Ludlow, Frederick Stocker of Gassetts, Robert Stocker of Pittsford, and Alfred Stocker of Bangor, Maine; five brothers, Edwin Stocker of Ludlow, Durward Stocker of Springfield, Cecil Stocker of Cavendish, John Stocker of Tyson, and Clifford Stocker of Ascutney; five sisters, Mrs. Eva Wells and Mrs. Sarah Davis of Cavendish, Mrs. Lena Pratt of Proctorsville, Mrs. Mary Webb of Bridgewater Corners, and Mrs. Dora Soboluesky of Conn., and nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm in the Baptist Church by the Rev. Henry Johnson. Friends may call at the Spaulding Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 9 pm.
