Jerry Dean Bonner, 70, Springfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. He was born on March 22, 1939 in Springfield. He was united in marriage to Barbara (Sanders) on October 1, 1960 in Miami, Okla. He enjoyed being with his family, gardening, fishing, camping and racing. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Bonner; mother, Wilma (Bonnie) Friedhoffen; son, Kelly Bonner; and brother, Gene Bonner. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bonner; children, Tom Bonner and wife Becky, Doug Bonner, Melissa Carr and husband Tony; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Walt Bonner; and sister, Betty Arell. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Visitation is Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
