Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Nov. 14, 1986 at 11 a.m. at the Afton
Third/Fourth Ward Chapel for Warren Erickson. A viewing will be held Thursday night
at the Schwab Mortuary from 7-8:30 p.m. and again Friday morning form 9:30 a.m.
until the time of service.
Funeral services for Warren Robert Erickson were held on Friday, Nov 14 in Afton.
Burial followed in the Freedom Cemetery.
He was born on Nov 7, 1905 in Thayne, WY and spent most of his life in the lower
Star Valley area. In 1925 he married Leone Hale. They left the valley to obtain
work.
He worked for Swift and Company until 1938. At that time he went to work for Mobil
Oil in Nampa, ID and Pendleton OR. He retired in Portland OR.
Warren was active in the LDS Church. He served as bishop in Nampa, ID and for 25
years on the high council in three different stakes. His assignment was
genealogy. He and Leone served a mission in Guymas, OK following their retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Leone, two sons four daughters, 28 grandchildren 11
great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.
