WAIT. In Spirit Lake, September 14, Isaac C. Wait [Waite], aged seventy five years.
The Beacon learned of the above death just before going to press and has not the data at hand from which to do the subject justice. Deceased was a native of New York and served in the civil war. For nearly forty years he had resided on a farm in the Loon Lake district. He came to town a few weeks ago for medical treatment. His death was caused by bone cancer, the result of injuries received in the army. The limb affected was amputated a number of years ago, but the disease continued to develop.
The remains were taken to Loon Lake yesterday, where funeral services will be held.
