Rulon C Carlson, 66, of American Fork died Tuesday. Oct 22, 1985.
He was born Aug 9, 1919 in Pleasant Grove, the son of Clairence and Ruby A Cunningham Carlson. He married Connie Read Feb 5, 1949 in Salt Lake City.
He graduated from American Fork High School where he was active in sports.
He served as a sergeant in the US Army during World War II. stationed in Alaska and Italy.
He worked at Geneva Steel for 35 years, retiring in 1981.
He coached little league baseball for several years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
Survivors include his wile of American Folk. two sons and one daughter; W. Jay Carlson and JoAnn Carlson, both of American Fork, and William Russell Carlson of Delta.
Services will be 11 am Friday in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel. 49 E 100 N., American Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday, 7- 9 pm, and Friday one hour before services.
Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
