G.A. Henderson Funeral Services Held Sunday.
Funeral services for George Andrew Henderson, 73, retired Craig rancher, who died Dec. 22 at the Memorial hospital after a brief illness, were held Sunday at the First Christian church with the Rev. John Frees officiating.

Musical selections at the services were “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Abide With Me,” sung by Alton Welch.

Pallbearers were Fred Wymore, Pete Palmer, John Kawback, Ralph and Ted Paulson and Russell Winslow.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Robacker mortuary.

Mr. Henderson was born August 3, 1880 at Erie, Pennsylvania, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Henderson.

At the age of eleven, he moved to Rising City, Nebraska with his family. He married Martha Mary Aden of Rising City in 1910.

The Hendersons came to Craig in 1917, and homesteaded seven miles northeast of Craig and made their home at the ranch until 1945, when they moved to Craig.

Mr. Henderson became seriously ill and was hospitalized Monday, the day preceding his death.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Henderson and six sons, Harold Henderson, Baggs, Wyoming; Arthur Henderson, Lakewood, Colorado; Richard Henderson, Nucla, Colorado; Frank Henderson, Lynwood, California; Dave and Howard Henderson of Craig; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Hascal, of Bolivar, Mo.
