JESSE M. DAVIS
Jesse E. Davis, 88 year old Camas
resident, died Sept. 2 at 1828 NE 6th. He
had lived in Camas for five years.
Funeral services were held Sept. 8 at the
Stoller Memorial Chapel with the Rev.
James Bradford officiating. Robert Short
sang "Rock of Ages" and "Good Night and
Good Morning." Burial was in the Camas
cemetery.
He was born aug. 15, 1865, in Flat
River, Mo.
He is survived by five nephews, Lytle L.
Nonemaker of Camas; Clarence and Marvin
Plantz of Portland; and J.H. and J.D.
Newton of Arizona; great nephew, Niel
Nonemaker of Sweet Home, Ore.; Robert
Nonemaker of Taft, Ore.; a niece, Mrs.
Jessie York of Portland; and two great
nieces, Mrs. Iona Allen of Depoe Bay and
Mrs. Zella Scott of Camas.
