Raised and worked diligently on his father's farm in Centerville through his graduation from Davis High; he moved to Logan where he received his bachelors degree from Utah State University. Weldon spent his working years as the owner of his own auto parts stores.

After retiring he enjoyed golfing, gardening, and volunteer work. Weldon was always helping others.

Through his easy manner, sweet smile and sense of humor we all knew how he loved his family and friends. He was Past Exalted Ruler, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 85; an active member of Shadow Mountain Country Club, Palm Desert, and Hidden Valley Country Club, Salt Lake, and the High Steppers Dance club. Weldon was a High Priest in the LDS Church.
