Vivian May Vader's parents were Eugene Francis Vader & Ida Josephine Daines. Her brothers were Forest Edwin Vader, Herbert Clinton Vader, & Roy Vader. She had one sister: Vina Vader Barriger.
She married Isaac James Thane on Sept. 9, 1903. They lived all their lives in Tuscola Co. Michigan. They were known throughout the community as "Uncle Isaac" and "Aunt Vivian".
Vivian would go to neighboring houses to take care of someone who might be ill, or maybe to deliver a baby. She was the neighborhood nurse. She worked endlessly in the Sunshine Methodist church, especially as a Sunday School teacher. She loved her Lord!
