MRS. LLOYD A. BECHDEL
Mrs. Lloyd W. BECHDEL, 77, became unexpectedly ill during the night at her trailer home on the Sugar Run Road, and died at 12:29 a.m. today of a heart attack. She had been ill of a heart condition since April.
Mr. BECHDEL, the former Mary UHL, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. UHL, was born Oct. 23, 1888 at Romola. She was married on April 15, 1906.
The BECHDELS farmed about 20 years at Beech Creek, then moved to their own farm at Howard where they lived 18 years until retiring to make their home in Flemington.
In 1960 they purchased a trailer and located it on the farm of their daughter, Mrs. Eldon PHILLIPS, Mill Hall R.D., Mr. BECHDEL died in June, 1960, shortly after they moved to the new trailer home.
Mrs. BECHDEL was a member of the Howard Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Harry BECHDEL, Mill Hall; and five daughters, Mrs. Stanley ELLERS, Beech Creek; Mrs. Harold BOHM, Centre Hall; Mrs. Ernest STROUSE, Mill Hall R.D.; Mrs. PHILLIPS, and Mrs. Harry LYONDS, Flemington; also 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her own family. Another daughter, Mrs. Byron GORHAM of Flemington, died in 1945.

BECHDEL-Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the BECHDEL Funeral Home, Beech Creek, for Mrs. Mary UHL BECHDEL, 77, widow of Lloyd W. BECHDEL, who died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov 6, 1965 at her home, Mill Hall R.D. The Rev. C. Robert MEYER will officiate. Interment Christian Cemetery, Blanchard. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
