Stella Mae Rowe, 77, passed away July 29, 2008. She was born August 14, 1930, to the late Mr. John Thomas and Rosie Mae (Pryor) Foster. Stella was an accomplished seamstress and worked at several textile companies. She was a member of Villa Heights Church of God. She is survived by her daughter, Reita (Steve) Shilts; brothers, JT, Henry, and Willie Ray Foster; sisters, Laura Nivens, Gay Capps, and Lillie Ford; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cortis Rowe and son James E. Rowe.

Graveside services will be at Bluff Creek Cemetery.
