Icie grew up and attended school in Durham. She was married to Wilton Earle on November 2, 1939 in Reydon, Oklahoma. They moved to Craig, Colorado twenty-five years ago. She enjoyed fishing and quilting.
Her husband Wilton; her parents, and her twin sister preceded her in death.
Surviving are he sons, Leon and wife Rosemary Earle, Raymond and wife Genie Earle, and Harold and Loretta Earle, all of Craig, Colorado, and Dennis and wife Glenda Earle, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, November 18, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the Grant Mortuary Chapel in Criag, Colorado with Bill Peterson officiating. Interment was in the Craig Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to the 4-H Foundation in care of the Grant Mortuary at 621 Yampa Ave., Craig, Colorado 81625.
