Loretta Hicks, 70, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008. She was a resident of Monrovia.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley E. Hicks; six children, Douglas (Doris) and Jeffrey Hicks, Brook (Jim) Weidman, Sharon (Stefan) Bathory, Kara (Vance) Miner and Pamela (Steve) Starks; four brothers; three sisters; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Irene (Stone) Richardson.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Pleasant Christian Church in Hall. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jones Family Mortuary, State Road 67 and Allison Road in Mooresville, and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Holt International Children's Fund, P.O. Box 2880, Eugene, OR 97402.
