Ronald M. Byer

Funeral services for Ronald M. Byer, 58, Fort Wayne, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. He died Saturday in the Veterans Administration Hospital.

He was a native of Pleasant Mills and was a construction worker before retiring in 1973 because of illness. He was a veteran of World War 11 and a member of David Parrish Post 296, American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Sandy Linthicum, Decatur; two sons, Terry, Fort Wayne, and James Berne; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Strayer, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Lucile Foor, Monroe; Ethel Byer, Van Wert, O., and Mrs. Gladys Kuhn, Ohio City, O.; and five brothers, Elvin [sic], Beryl, Veryl and Don, all of Fort Wayne, and Elvin [sic], Willshisre, O.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 today. Graveside rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Veterans Administration Cemetery, Marion.
