She was born Aug. 17, 1910, in Readlyn, daughter of Fred and Lottie Peck Kraft. She married Willis H. Spragg on May 18, 1935. He preceded her in death.
After finishing school, she moved to Waterloo to become a nanny for Phillip Friedel family, later working as a cashier at Friedel's Restaurant in downtown Waterloo. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Survived by: two sons, Dr. Thomas R. (Charlotte) of Clear Lake and Dr. John (Susan) of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Dr. Todd (Mary) Spragg, Dr. Matthew (Hope) Spragg and Dr. Cori (Patrick) Moriarity; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; a grandson; and three brothers, Floyd Kraft, Donald Kraft and Fred Kraft.
Family memorial services: will take place at a later date, with burial in the Hazleton Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories is in charge of arrangements.
