Born Nov. 30, 1988, in Bloomington, he was the son of David L. Clark and Lana S. (Snapp) Trout, both of Martinsville.
He served in the U. S. Navy.
He attended Martinsville schools with the class of 2007.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville.
He enjoyed playing the piano and violin, and was an avid bowler. He bowled a perfect score of 300 on June 1, 2006.
He was a mathematician and enjoyed following the Martinsville High School girls sports, writing poetry, fishing, and spending time with his friends.
Other survivors include a stepfather, David Trout of Martinsville; a brother, Austin J. Clark of Martinsville; a stepbrother, Andrew D. Trout of Martinsville; grandparents, Jack and Dona Clark of Martinsville and John and Marge Snapp of Paragon; and great-grandmother, Nellie Brown of Monticello.
The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville. The Rev. Roger Smith and the Rev. Jeff Sexton will officiate.
Burial will be in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
