Thomas Clifford was the son of Charles Clifford and Jane Gordon Clifford. Thomas married Catherine Lawson in 1800 in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. He was the father of ten children. Thomas died November 25, 1841 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Burial was in Old Ligonier Cemetery.
