Mary B. Holt, 85, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Christian Health Center in Corbin.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1922 in Knox County, KY,
a daughter to the late Jerry Ledington and the late Nancy Glass Ledington.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Verlin Holt;
five brothers, Robert, B.F., Julian, H.F. and Jim Ledington;
seven sisters, Allie Hale, Claudia Sanders, Nell Ray, Thelma Hetkowski, Sally Ledington, Kotha Ledington and Joyce Hunt.
She is survived by one sister, Rose Brown of Nicholasville, Ky,
several nieces and nephews, and a host of other loved ones.
She was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.
The funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Abney officiating.
Burial will be at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today (Saturday) at the Corbin Funeral Home.
Corbin Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements, Mike Cox and Byron L. Schiesz, directors.
