She was the wife of Ernst Hermann Kreder and the daughter of Fredrick Traugust Hessel and Catharine Henrietta Kate.

German Native, Mrs Kreder, 87, Dies Near West
WEST (SPL)---Mrs Minnie Kreder of Route 2, West, (the Gerald Community) died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in her home. She was 87.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Aderhold Funeral Home in West.
Mrs. Kreder had lived in the Gerald Community for more than 60 years. She was a native of Saxony, Germany. Mrs. Kreder was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She also belonged to the Ladies Aid Society at the church. Mrs. Kreder was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Sons of Hermann. She married Herman Kreder in 1894. He died in 1920.
Survivors include three sons, Herman Kreder and George Kreder, both of Gerald, and Alvin Kreder of Rt. 1, Elm Mott; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Blankenstein of 506 Maxfield in Bellmead, Mrs. Mary Heitmiller of West; a brother, Moritz Hessel of 510 South Ninth Street in Waco; a sister, Mrs. Popp of West; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Minnie Kreder of Route 2, West, (the Gerald Community) died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday in her home. She was 87.
Funeral services were at 2:30 p. m. Monday in St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Gerald. Rev. Bruno Schroeder officiated with burial in Gerald Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Herman Kreder and George Kreder, both of Gerald, and Alvin Kreder of Rt. 1, Elm Mott; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Blankenstein of 506 Maxfield in Bellmead, Mrs. Mary Heitmiller of West; a brother, Moritz Hessel of 510 South Ninth Street in Waco; a sister, Mrs. Popp of West; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Herman Blankenstein, Paul Blankenstein, Lloyd Kreder, Gary Kreder, and Larry Kreder, and Gene Heitmiller.
Aderhold Funeral Home was in West, Alvin Payne owner, Hillcrest 6-5192.
