Orangeburg - B. C Headden, 61, of 149 Grover St., died Monday morning at his home. Mr. Headden was born in Dorchester County, a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Bowlin [Bolin] Headden. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church near Neeses with the Rev. Arthur Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery, directed by the Thompson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Lindburgh Headden, S. W. Williams, A. P. Amaker, Aden Miller, W. X. Floyd, and Willie Smith. Surviving are: two daughters, Hazel Windham of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Thelma Jeffcoat of Pelion; four sons, Joseph Headden of the U.S. Army, stationed in Texas, James, Charley and Jimmy Headden all of Orangeburg; three sisters, Mrs. Minerva Cooper and Mrs. Mary Williamson of Orangeburg and Mrs. Queenie Crider of Bamberg; one brother, King T.
