The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Sophia Baptist Church, officiating will be the Reverend Bill Barns. Interment will be in Cedar Square Friends Meeting Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson was born February 12, 1916, in Randolph County, to the late Emil Jay and Ethel Davis Hohn.
Mrs. Robertson was a member of Sophia Baptist Church. She was a native of Randolph County and a retired middle school language arts teacher, having taught for more than 40 years, the last 23 of which were at Allen Jay School. She held a bachelor's and master's degree from UNCG and WCU.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Hohn, Sr.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by one sister-in-law, Evelyn L. Hohn; four nieces, Janet Hohn, Barbara Hohn Farlow, Linda Hohn English and Deborah Hohn Beasley; two nephews, Jay Hohn, Jr. and David Hohn; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friends, Marsha and Steve Jump who were dear to her; outstanding care givers, Mrs. Margie Royall, Janet Bottomly, Sylvia Farlow and Delores Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sophia Baptist Church, 4082 Millikan Road, Sophia, NC 27350 or Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
