C. Pauline Gidley, 91, passed away July 23, 2008 at the Village at Skyline in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was born in Custer County, Oklahoma on April 20, 1917 to the late Harry and Nora (Sebastian) Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter moved the family to Montana four months after Pauline was born.
Pauline married Maurice Gidley. They had two sons, M. David Gidley and Daniel D. Gidley. She was preceded in death by her husband and both sons.
Pauline is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dianne Gidley (wife of Daniel); grandchildren, Lee, Aaron, and David the children of Daniel; and Lorrie and Jeff Gidley the children of M. David; six great-grandchildren, Hannah and Lily; Emma and Connor; Joshua and Lora Gidley; her brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Beth Carpenter as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a long standing member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and had been employed for thirty years in Civil Service at Peterson Air Force Base.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to Odyssey Hospice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Skyline Room at the Village at Skyline, 2335 Patriot Heights, Colorado Springs.
