She is survived by three children, J W Smith, Joe Ann Smith LaBove, and Janet Lee Monta (Eric); a sister, Yvonne Alexander; three half-siblings, Chris Vincent, Christine Vincent, and Jessie Vincent; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Jardneaux and Ida Vincent; her husband, Joe Lee Smith; a sister, Eva Pharris; and a son-in-law Gerald LaBove.
