He was born March 18, 1959 in Ogden, UT. Jerry lived his childhood in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School and attending Weber State College. He was employed as vice president of Custom Auto Finance at Bank One, Salt Lake City. Jerry was a devoted father and an avid outdoorsman. He shared his sense of adventure and love of the outdoors with his four sons. Jerry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was devoted to his parents.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Taylor, Trenton, Tyler, Treven Barnard, Stansbury Park, UT; parents, Wayne and Elaine Barnard, Ogden; brothers, Dale (Vickie) Barnard, Nibley, UT, Denis (Angelina) Barnard. Layton; and grandmother, Mae Child, Ogden.
