Ranzy Dow married Virginia Marie Sloan Nov. 5th 1908.

Ranzey D. Richardson, age 59, resident of he Mill Creek section of Raven, Va. Passed away in a local hospital early Thursday morning March 11th following an illness of several months. Death was attributed to a heart condition.
Mr. Richardson was born in Russell County, Virginia, the son of the late Albert and Rachel McGlothlin Richardson. He was educated in the free schools of Russell county, and followed the vocation of farming his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Richardson and the following children, Daily Richardson of Swords Creek, Claude, Clyde, Jessie, Garnett , Albert, Paul, Mrs. Perry Whithead, and Miss Mary Richardson all of Raven, He is also survived by four brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, March 13th at 11:00 A.M. in the Mt. Pleasant School on Horton Ridge with the Rev. Vince Wilson of Richlands in charge of the service assisted by Rev. Miller, Albert Ball, Charles Perkins. Interment was in the Richardson Cemetery on Horton Ridge. The remains wee removed from the Farmer Funeral Home to the residence of the deceased on Thursday evening.
