LOUISE HELEN PONCHO ANDERSON, Age 86, of Cochiti Pueblo, born May 22, 1912, passd away peacefully on June 3, 1998, to be with our Lord.
Louise was born in Cochiti Pueblo to Juan and Luisa Poncho, who preceded her in death. Louise was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Roy Beyage (Beyage should be Bradley) Anderson, who was a well known silversmith from Klagatoh, AZ., but resided in Santa Fe over 45 years. Also preceding her in death was her son, Danny I. Anderson and grandson, Eugene Anderson; sisters; Dominguita Melchoir and Vickie Fragua.
Lousie was a very loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who was always there to share her love, joy and humor. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her children; Dennis and wife Mary of Cochiti. Laura Platero of Cochiti; Sylvia Chama and husband Sutero of Santo Domingo,. Roy Anderson Jr., of Santa Fe, Patricia Anderson and husband Joe Garcia of Albuquerque; Elizabeth Taliman Miera and husband Wilbert of Santa Fe, Charlotte Vigil and Husband Douglas of San Ildefonso Pueblo; sisters; Barbara Herriera of Cochiti, Carnation Atencio of Cochiti, Claire Romero of Albuquerque; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grand-child; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited last night at the family home in Cochiti.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. at the Saint Benaventura Church in Cochiti Pueblo. Fr. Hilaire will officiate. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemeter at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 1998.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Leroy Chama, Mike Taliman, Johnathan Anderson, Dennis Anderson, Jr., Emo Yepa, Joseph Garcia and Stain Vigil. Honoray pallearer will be Roy Anderson Jr.
