LAWRENCEVILLE, GA.- Edith Rowe Biggs, 87, of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Friday, July 18, 2008 at her home following a brief illness.
Born in Lawtey, Mrs. Biggs moved to Lawrenceville in 2006. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Starke; was a homemaker; a member of the Red Hats; the Junior Women's Club and the bridge club.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Biggs Wessel of Duluth, Ga. and Karen Quin of Atlanta, Ga.; her grandchildren Leslie, Courtenay, Rick and Janes; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Ansley, Nathaniel, Sarah and Eathan.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Crosby Lake Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Moore officiating and was under the care of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home of Starke.
