The native of Varnville, S,C, liven in Pooler since her childhood. She was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church. She was a mother and homemaker and a member of Windsor Forest Garden Club, the Pooler Athletic Association, the local PTA and the Groves Booster Club.
Surviving are her husband, James Iler, Sr., of Pooler; a son, James "Buddy" Iler, Jr., of Savannah; two daughters, Janice I. Singletary of Melrose, Fla., and Jennifer Iler of Savannah; her mother Marietta Baker of Pooler; two sisters, Edna Burnsed of Oviedo, Fla, and Joan Steadman of Clemson, S.C.; a stepbrother, Tillman Sauls of Orangeburg, S.C.; two grandchildren; and several other relatives.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Massey Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
