A graveside service to celebrate the life of Kirk S. Jennings, 46, will be held Monday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at the cemetery in Bridgeport.
Mr. Jennings died April 17, 2001. He was born in San Francisco, Calif., Nov. 24, 1954, to Dale and Dorothy Jennings. On Oct. 5, 1996, he and Debbie Hysell Turner were married.
Mr. Jennings was a Sergeant with the California Highway Patrol for 22 years. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, exploring and traveling.
Preceding him in death was his father Dale.
Survivors include his mother Dorothy Jennings of Sacramento; wife Debbie Jennings of Bridgeport; sons Christian of Bend, Ore., and Steven of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter Danielle Walker of Sacramento; stepson Adam Turner of Long Beach, Calif.; brothers Bruce of Daly City, Calif., and Doug of Hayward; five grandchildren; and two nephews.
