Carllena Boronda, 44, of the Plateau Community in Cumberland County, passed
away Jan. 31, 2004. Funeral services were conducted Feb. 3 from the chapel
of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey. The Rev. Eddie Way and the Rev. Bobby
Floyd officiated, with interment following in the Muddy Pond Cemetery.
Mrs. Boronda was born Aug. 19, 1959 in Bartlesville, OK, the daughter of
Donnie Edford and Louise Lee Burnett.
She was an employee of the Arby's restaurant on Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville
and attended the Rock Springs Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Boronda of the Plateau Community in
Cumberland County; daughters, Christina Riley of Cookeville, Kimberly
Jackson of Albuquerque, NM and Anna Ward of Belen, NM; son, Leroy Brewster
of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Louise Lee Burnett of Jarales, NM; five
grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Jackson and Binky Porter, both of Jarales,
NM; brothers, Danny Jackson and Bobby Jackson, both of Belen, NM;
mother-in-law, Elsie Lewis of Cookeville; sisters-in-law, Patricia
Davenport, Debbie McQuarry, Theresa Hargis, Becky Swallows, Ginny Stewart
and Vivian Swift; and brothers-in-law, Ricky Lewis, Kevin Boronda and
Phillip Boronda.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Goff Funeral Home of Monterey, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
