George T. Cross, 40, of Dallas, former Wacoan, died in a local hospital at 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held from Wilkirson-Hatch chapel Monday at 3 p.m. Rev. H. H. Hargrove officiating, burial in Rosemound cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Temple, Tom Mahry, John Horafull, Jose Mason, Emmett Barron and S. C. O-Neal. Surviving are his widow; a daughter Carolyn; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Cross of Plainview; three brothers, C.. L. of Houston; R. N. Percilla and J. O. of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. B. H. McCall of Temple and Mrs. L. A. Hollar of Plainview. Mr. Cross was employed by the Katy railroad. He had been a member of the Baptist church since the age of 16."
