East Peoria, IL - Billie M. Lawrence, 66, of East Peoria passed away at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Hillsboro, Ill., to William and Margaret Florian Vath. She married Freddie Al Lawrence in Creve Coeur, Ill., on Aug. 5, 1961. He survives.
She also is survived by three children: Kevin (Cheri) Lawrence and their daughter, Caitlin; Karen (Bret) Phillips and her three children, Shawn Andrus, who was raised by his grandparents, Justin and Jason Andrus; and Steve (Barb) Lawrence and their two children, Abigail and Jenna. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren; three half-sisters; and three half-brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one half-brother.
Billie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
