Jo Marie Glover, 80, of Perkins, Okla. died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Perkins. Private family interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, McAlester, Okla. at a later date. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Glover was born on September 23, 1927 in Buffalo, Okla. to George William Buss and Ellen N. (Baker) Buss. She married Henry Lee "Bud" Glover on October 1, 1944 in Enumclaw, Wash. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1980.
The family lived in many places including Washington state, Oklahoma City, Okla., Las Cruces, NM, Farmington, NM, McAlester, Okla. and Perkins, Okla. She worked as a seamstress and was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, George Roland Buss; and one sister, Alpha Jean Buss. She is survived by two sons, Bobby and his wife Diane of Calif. and Randy and his wife Roberta of SC; two daughters, Virgie,of Texas, and Wanda Mae and her husband Bill of,Okla; nine grandchildren, Gloria and Kristi of Texas, Julie, Trisha, David, and Brian of California, and Marie, Neva,and Virginia of Oklahoma; 23 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one sister, Pattie Ellie Munyan of Ohio; one sister-in-law, Victoria "Vickie" (Buss) Casebolt of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
