Died at her home near the Landing September 19, after a few days severe illness, Mrs. Abbie Nichols, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Harriman, aged 27 years. Mr. Harriman's family have been sorely afflicted as only two months had elapsed since they buried their son and again death has suddenly and unexpectedly entered their home and taken one whose presence seemed so necessary to their happiness.
Mr. Nichols died about one year ago and now little Harold is motherless as well as fatherless.
Mrs. Nichols was an estimable christian young lady, always interested in church and Sunday school when able to attend, and her friends have the assurance that for her, death has no terrors.
The deeply afflicted family have the heartfelt sympathy of the community.
