OBITUARY:

John T. Bogan, 85, of Bloomfield, died Sunday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital at Vincennes.

Born Sept. 17, 1901, at Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Orlando G. and Ethel (Snider) Bogan. He was a retired merchant and operated Bogan's Regal Store in Bloomfield. He was a member of Bloomfield Christian Church and a 50-year member of Knights of Pythias of Worthington.

Survivors include his wife, Alberta M. (Peterson) Bogan; one sister, Edith Flater of Bloomington; three nephews, John B. Flater of Indianapolis, David Flater of Bloomington and James Bogan of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Bogan.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Friends may call 4-9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until services at the funeral home.
