years, coming from St. Augustine. He had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a
former employee of L&W Wood Works in Crescent City. He was a member of Beulah
Baptist Church in Fruitland.
He is survived by his son, Richard B. Batman of Akron, Ohio; daughter, Michelle
L. Batman of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Barbara Ramsey of Satsuma.
The funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church in Fruitland with
Rev. Ira Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery,
Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home in Crescent City is handling arrangements.
