Surviving are one daughter, Susan (Kurt) Knuf; one son, Mark (Rendy) Lange; four grandchildren, Jason Knuf, Ashley Lange, Taylor Lange and Luke Lange; one brother, Grant Lange; and one sister, Elaine (Bill) Mahon.
He worked as a machinist at Gardner Denver for several years and retired in 1985 from Moorman Manufacturing in Quincy, with 32 years of service.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.
