Margie married Robert Lynn Buttercase and had 4 children. Michael, Carolyn, Philip, & John. She was a farmer's wife, with the usual gardening, chickens, sewing, quilting, and canning. She always had a cave to store the vegetables that she raised. She was always proud of the fact that the family farm was a century farm of Iowa. It has since been sold.
She later married Phil Foster. After she married Phil, she had time to raise her gardens, fruits of all kinds, do her quilting and crocheting. She also loved cooking especially large family gatherings. She had many grandchildren and now great grandchildren, most of whom she did not get to see.
Mom is partly the inspiration for all the work I have put into the geneology of her family.
Margie went to be with God and her family that had preceeded her in death, after suffering a long time with an incurable lung condition. She's gone but not forgotten. We miss her so!!
