Our beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather passed away surrounded by family on July 22, 2008 in American Fork, Utah from having too many birthdays.

Born May 12, 1917 in Heber City, Utah to Isaac and Thea Anderson Jacob. Nort married his sweetheart Vesta Twitchell on August 15, 1941 in the Logan Temple. Together they spent 67 years raising a family, enjoying their grandchildren, serving a mission to Minnesota, and working in the Provo Temple. Nort was an ambitious, hardworking man who made his living as a wool grower. He prided himself for having the largest lambs sent to market. He loved fishing and the mountains. He was a BYU fan and enjoyed all sports.

Survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters, Sherrill of Orem; Jerry (Kaye), Charles (Lana), O'leah (Jeffery) Brown all of American Fork; Kathryn (Johnny) Jacobs, Oregon; Isaac, Margie Patterson of Provo; John (Diane), Eagle Mountain; his sister Venice (Boyd) Fugal of Pleasant Grove; 37 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two grandsons, one sister and four brothers.
