A very pretty wedding took place in the Christian church at Wayne Sunday morning; the contracting parties were Mr Leonard Ekstrom and Miss Mollie Fickle (sic) both of Wayne, Rev. Franklin of Washington officiating. A few minutes past 11 oclock (sic) the coming of the bridal party was heraled by the entrance of the organist. Miss Anna White, who proceeded at once to the organ, and began playing a beautiful wedding march. The first of the bridal party proper to enter were Mr. Burril Fickle, as best man, and Miss Nettie Eldridge as maid of honor. They were succeeded by the bridal pair who took a central position facing the audience. The ceremony was pronounced in a very solemn and impressive manner. The rites over the happy couple repaired to the home of the bride's mother where congratulations were received, and where a bounteous feast awaited them and their immediate friends. The bride was dressed in light gray lady's cloth trimmed in white silk and braid. The maid of honor was dressed in cream henriette trimmed in lace and ribbon. The groom and best man wore the conventional black. Numerous presents were received.
