Victor H. McDonald,well known Moultrie and Douglas county
landowner,passed away early Thursday morning of last week at his home in Arthur.
He was born in 1875 near Arthur and was graduated from Arthur high school. He attended Eureka college and taught school in Arthur for a long time. Later he was engaged in farming. He was interested in political matters, serving as a Democratic precinct committeeman for a long time and was also elected as State Representative a number of years ago.
Surviving him are his wife Myrtle Burks Mcdonald and a daughter, Mrs. G. P.Edge of Homewood. Funeral services were held at 2 oclock Saturday afternoon at the Arthur Christian church. Interment was in the Arthur cemetery.
